Fairbanks Ranch Country Club
Fairbanks Ranch Country Club is built on land owned by the City of San Diego. By agreement the club had to develop the unused portion of the land they were leasing into 9 more holes of golf or return the land to the City. That 9 holes was completed in 2004 to make it a 27 hole course. The course hosted the 1984 Olympics Equestrian events headed by Prince Phillips of England. The course recovered nicely from the horse divots!
